Career Profile
Essendon used its last selection at 47 in the 2006 National Draft to bring former Peel Thunder player Kyle Reimers to Windy Hill.
Reimers is a forward who attacks the ball ferociously, but can provide good defensive pressure while also kicking goals. As a West Australian U18 representative and AIS/AFL Academy graduate in 2006, Essendon is confident there is plenty of scope for more improvement in him.
Reimers was chosen at 17 years of age, he has had an excellent start to his career. He debuted against Fremantle in Round 19, 2007.
He played an exciting 15 games in 2008.
Draft History: 2006 NAB AFL Draft 3rd round selection (Essendon) No. 47 overall traded by Fremantle for Dean Solomon and No. 42 (Bachar Houli). |
